The central west coast is expected to bear the brunt of the downpours.
The rain will spread across most of the country by Monday, hitting hardest in southern Gyeonggi Province, southwestern Gangwon Province, the central Chungcheong region and North Jeolla Province.

Coastal areas of South Chungcheong Province, Daejeon and Sejong could see rainfall totals climb past 250 millimeters.
Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi and Gangwon Province are in line for 30-80 millimeters of rain.

In the greater Seoul area, the heaviest rain is expected between the predawn hours and Monday morning.
The rain should end in southern regions and on Jeju Island by Monday night.
The rain will linger over central parts of the country into Tuesday morning.
