The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) announced an expansion of its late-night driverless taxi service in Gangnam, increasing the fleet from 7 to 19 vehicles. The expanded service began at 10 PM on August 20 (Thu).

How to Use the Service
Passengers can hail and ride the self-driving taxi late at night through the mobile app "Kakao T," available only in the Gangnam district.

What's Next
The service will undergo approval by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) to operate in school zones, as well as in areas previously operated in Gangnam.
