Official Launch
- The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) will officially launch Everyone's Card (Climate Pass) on September 1, 2026, and begin full-scale operations from that date.
Expanded Youth Discount Eligibility
- With Climate Pass, SMG will expand the age range for the youth discount from 19–34 to 19–39, extending the youth discount previously offered as a special benefit of the Climate Card.
New Youth Pass Option
- A 7-day Climate Card Youth Pass launches September 1.
- The 7-day Climate Card Youth Pass costs KRW 13,000, which is 35% less than the regular price of KRW 20,000.
Free Card Exchange Booths
- From September 1 to October 2, SMG will operate Climate Pass information booths at 12 major subway stations with high passenger traffic, including Seoul Station, City Hall Station, and Jamsil Station, for 25 days, excluding Sundays and public holidays.
- At these booths, users can return a physical Climate Card whose validity period has expired and receive a new physical Climate Pass card at no cost through a 1:1 exchange as part of the card collection event.
Payback Program Deadline Extended
- SMG is extending the Climate Card 30-day pass (KRW 30,000) monthly payback program application period by one month, from the end of August through the end of September.
- Eligible users can receive KRW 30,000 per month for up to three months, for a total of KRW 90,000.
- Applications for the Climate Card payback can be submitted through the Tmoney Card & Pay website (pay.tmoney.co.kr).
